Hello Flight Simmers,
Coming soon for the Ultimate 757 will be Service Pack 3. This will mark the end of development for this version of our 757 and our first product ever. I was just reviewing the Changelog since the initial release and we are proud at what the product eventually grew into and the lessons learned from it. It has aged nicely :-) This Service Pack is a fix of some minor issues and even a few major ones, but it is not reinventing what this product has been. Some behavioral issues that some have experienced are simply due to us being at the limits of the default FS9/FSX autoflight systems. We've gone as far as we could (and ever set out to) with this installment of the the 757. A complete list of fixes/mods will be available upon release of the SP, but perhaps the most notable new features will be FSX sound cones for the engines and that the installer will allow for installation into the P3D platform (versions 1 and 2). We've been asked by many our customers whether or not the 757 would be supported in P3D. Due to some incompatibilities with P3D, we are unable to fully endorse this upcoming Service Pack as P3D compatible. The SP3 Full installer will however allow those with a license for the Ultimate 757 Collection to install the product in FS9 and FSX as well as P3D Versions 1 and 2. This will allow for those interested in trying the product in P3D to do so without an migration tools. This install is however at your discretion as again we will not provide support for P3D. We've done some limited Beta testing in P3D and have determined that the systems appear to function just as they do in FSX. The things that prevent us from offering a full endorsement generally have to do with visual discrepancies. But it's also because we simple do not have the time (nor the desire) to work on/beta test this version of the 757 for a new platform. The visual problems that we've noticed are:
More info as it becomes available as this SP is currently in the final stages of testing. Thanks for those of you who have remained patient with this Service Pack. P.S. - Boeing may have thrown away the tooling & jigs for the real 757, but we're keeping ours ;-) QualityWings Simulations Edited by Corey - 09 Feb 2014 at 4:24pm |

To the entire crew that developed this bird, I give you a big thanks! A 757 was an aircraft that was very much needed in the FSX community. You guys have given us a good replication of this powerful aircraft, even though this was your very first high quality add-on you guys made!
This plane made you guys a fairly big player in the market and the wonderful RJ-BAe only supported that position. I'm willing to bet the 787 will be magnificent, and so will the 737, because a proper classics series is also very needed, and still very popular!

Am I reading too much into it or is there 'another' version possibly secretly planned? ;)

Sounds good! A update to the long beloved 757 from QW. Just wondering, since there will be a SP3 for this, does that mean liveries installe prior to this update have to be removed? And say if you did find a livery from 2010 for example "Allegiant Air" can it b installed after the new update Sp3? or is not compatible.
thanks

It is already in release candidate testing so expect it to be available very soon. All liveries from pre-SP3 will be compatible but might have to be reinstalled.

Sorry, I know this is an old thread, but is there any chance that the installer will be updated to allow installation of P3D 2.5?

Today I purchased the QW757 installed in PD3 and after installed, P3D wont run anymore. I uninstalled QW 757 and P3D runs fine. Any idea why I`m having this problem?

no, the latest installed should install into P3D just fine. Make sure you have the latest FSUIPC and run the add on manager. There may be an updated 757 gauge to download.

If you have P3D V4, then the 757 is not compatible due it being 32bit and V4 is 64bit.

Not as far as I'm aware. The current version isn't being upgraded as far as I'm aware unless anything changed. I'm pretty sure they'd be doing an entirely new version of the 757 to get it to work in P3D V4.

Just bought this a few days ago and it doesnt work. Goes into a steep climb and stalls the FMC is useless altogether . Bought it for P3DV4 and it is a big disappointment None of my gauges will work in this have to use the cockpit ones to change anything , wont follow a flight plan at all or a heading for that matter and I have tried everything
